As part of Exercise 2 of the FCA Project a second Dry Run tookplace from 3 to 7 February 2025 at CRIDA’s facilities. This critical step helped the exercise team to progress in the validation and fine-tune the key functionalities and procedures.
The main objectives of this Dry Run are as follows:
- To train the team on the use of iTEC functions.
- To review the feasibility of the defined operating procedures.
- To fine-tune iTEC tools and configure iTEC function parameters.
- To refine the validation scenarios.
- To identify the recording capabilities of the validation infrastructure.
- To validate PUZZLE HMI and its functionalities.
After the dry run, the results were analyzed and validated, e.g. to identify safety aspects (metrics and other evidence) that should be verified during the execution of the exercise and to determine whether all procedures used in the different scenarios for normal, abnormal and degraded modes are feasible for the controllers.
